Student services
The MOI Guidance Service supports international-background Turku UAS students with soft landing and integration matters, particularly during the first year after arrival in Finland. MOI provides guidance and practical information to help students navigate everyday matters and Finnish administrative systems.
Housing services
Finding a place to stay in Turku requires active effort from you. Turku University Applied Sciences (Turku UAS) cannot guarantee or arrange housing for exchange students; you have to apply for it yourself.We recommend that you start applying for accommodation as soon as you have received your acceptance to study / do practical training at TUAS.
Library services
The Turku University of Applied Sciences library provides information on studying, teaching, research and professional development.
During the service hours of campus libraries, you can ask for help on how to use the library and how to search for materials. The library card and the right to borrow are free to everyone who needs information.

Medical services
- When you move to Finland, your entitlement to treatment is determined according to the purpose and duration of your residence
- Finnish Student Health Service FSHS’: purpose is to provide student health services, as stipulated in the Health Care Act. You can use FSHS services (YTHS n Finnish) if you are studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and you have registered as an attending student.

The Turku University of Applied Sciences campuses in Turku and in Salo of Southwest Finland offer multidisciplinary and modern environments in which to study and work. The cosy campuses are easily accessible. There is always something happening on our campuses.

The best decision i have ever made
I have just applied to the program and i am fully motivated to get a chance to study there it is a highly ranked university

Learning ICT largely on your own
Teaching is quite bad, they expect the students to learn everything from Youtube tutorials. Everyone passes the courses, you barely need to try since they get money from every graduating student. A lot of projects and group work without proper guidance and a''students teach students'' mentality

Art studies at the Turku Art Academy
I have been very satisfied with the art education. My major is painting and my teacher is very motivating and inspiring. However, I have heard complaints about other majors, it's sometimes difficult to get in touch with the teachers and the teaching is not what you would expect.
