Opening its doors on Oct. 7, 1868, Mankato Normal School (officially the second state Normal School), the forerunner of Mankato State, began its first year with 27 pupils. The school operated out of rented quarters at the Methodist Episcopal Church. All students were from Mankato or the immediate area.

I'm happy with my choice here. The professors in my department are pretty kind and helpful, the other students are collaborative even though they might be a little introverted (engineering kids thingz). The environment on campus and in my classes is pretty healthy and friendly. There are plenty of resources for not only academics but also for students' personal developments and wellness too.
Choosing where to study was a difficult decision for me, but this platform made the process much easier. The information was clear, well-organized, and detailed enough to compare different programs and institutions. I especially appreciated the guidance on requirements and study options, which helped me make a more confident decision. I would recommend this platform to any student looking for reliable study information.
The campus is pretty good although it is slightly run down. The psych professors are fantastic though many of the gen ed professors don't take their classes seriously at all. The food and club options are alright though I wish there was some diversity. Overall the school is decent and a bargain to attend.
