Housing services
The University provides hostel facilities for over 800 students who live outside Karachi. Hostel facilities include:

Library services
The AKU global network of libraries supports students and faculty in their study, teaching and research needs. Our collections include books, current journals, back files of journals, educational reports, audio/visual aids and digital media. We also provide access to online journals, books and other resources.
Medical services
This Student Health Services Plan is applicable for full time students enrolled in programmes in the Aga Khan University (AKU), Pakistan only. The Student Health Services Plan at AKU provides medical cover for day-to-day problems to the students and enables access to medical aid in emergencies during their educational period at AKU. For this purpose a team of health care personnel is in place.

As an international university spanning several countries and three continents, you can choose to study at campuses in Pakistan, East Africa and the United Kingdom.
Sports facilities
The Sports and Rehabilitation Centre at the Stadium Road campus in Karachi offers various indoor and outdoor sports facilities of international standards. Membership of the Centre is open to all employees, alumni, students, volunteers, retired employees and trustees of the University. Students automatically become members of the Sports Centre upon enrollment at AKU.
Student clubs
AKU is home to 20+ student societies, clubs and committees, each with the power to empower you and transform your student life. These are friendly spaces where you can interact with your peers, discover common interests and develop new ones, find support and mentorship and, most importantly, have fun and make memories.
