Texas A&M University–Commerce

History

Since 1889 Texas A&M University-Commerce has educated the people of Texas and, ever increasingly, points beyond. We are the second largest university in the prestigious Texas A&M University System, and we remain true to our founder William Leonidas Mayo’s creed of “ceaseless industry, fearless investigation, unfettered thought, and unselfish service to others.”

Education

Texas A&M University-Commerce provides a personal, accessible, and affordable educational experience for a diverse community of learners. We engage in creative discovery and dissemination of knowledge and ideas for service, leadership, and innovation in an interconnected and dynamic world.

Research

With a new multi-million dollar science building on campus and some of the most cutting-edge educational models, A&M-Commerce provides research opportunities to undergraduates as well as graduates. Where else can undergraduates develop research projects alongside world-class faculty and graduate students? A&M-Commerce, of course.

Career

Finding a job or internship can seem like a daunting process. Career Development has all the tools and resources to help you find the opportunities that are right for you. We also provide Career Counseling. Whether you are trying to choose a major, change your major, or want to learn more about yourself, career counseling appointments are designed to help you develop a personalized career plan.
