History
The Seneca of today was a long time coming. When the College first opened its doors in 1967, classes were offered at a number of sites including a former Woolworth store and a renovated factory. Ground was turned in 1968 to create Seneca’s first permanent location on Finch Avenue East at Highway 404.
Education
For those who need help with their courses, our Learning Centres provide various approaches to learning support, including workshops, tutoring, one-on-one sessions, exam preparation and online learning supports. We can help you develop learning strategies and skills essential to success in your program.
Research
Seneca Applied Research is relevant to industry, driven by faculty and focused on students. We are the single point of access for industry and/or community partners who wish to engage in economically, socially and educationally relevant collaborative applied research projects with Seneca faculty and students. We help our partners access Seneca resources, including the expertise of highly qualified personnel (faculty, staff and students), research infrastructure, specialized applied research centres and funding opportunities, many of which are available only through collaboration with Seneca.

Seneca Works supports students with career planning throughout their academic studies as we believe that the career development journey starts from the moment you arrive at Seneca. We help prepare you for success in today’s workforce by connecting students and graduates with employers.
Student services
Our international student services is here to help you easily transition to life at Seneca. Our services include free airport pickup, housing and accommodation assistance, International student orientation, visa assistance, health insurance, and monthly trips and activities.
Housing services
Seneca’s partnership with Places4Students Inc. provides an online collection of affordable off-campus housing opportunities. Through our partnership with Places4Students, we provide a large real-time database of student housing vacancies near Seneca with photos, contact information and property features.
Library services
Seneca Libraries offer resources and services online and on-campus to enhance the academic interests of our students, faculty and staff. Our digital collection of databases, books, magazines, journals and videos are tailored to your learning, research and recreational interests.
ICT services
The Information Technology Services (ITS) department provides a wide range of services, including accounts, email, wireless internet access, printing, audio/visual equipment rental and more.
Medical services
The Seneca Medical Centre is located at Newnham Campus in Room G2652. It was established to provide a wide range of health services to current Seneca students living away from home. The Centre's health care team includes registered nurses and medical doctors. Due to current circumstances, the clinic will not be offering walk-in services on campus.

Our campuses are located throughout the Greater Toronto area, each with academic specialties and unique appeal.
A campus tour is a great way to explore Seneca either one-on-one or in a small group. Check out our classrooms, labs and facilities and get a feel for life on campus. Tours are available year-round.
Sports facilities
Seneca has a long and proud tradition of sporting excellence as one of the most decorated athletic programs in the history of the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association. From varsity teams to campus recreation and fitness programming to great facilities, Seneca offers many ways for you to stay active and healthy or to just have fun.
