Education

Student services

Success Advising is an added value to students who choose Eastern.  There is no question that is unwelcome, no request that will not be taken seriously and no run around to find out how to work through an issue.  Your SSA will work hard to make your life easier by answering questions, making suggestions, listening and advising as you need it, so that you can focus on your academic work and eventually experience the success you were hoping for when you chose EU.

Housing services

Affectionately known as the Main Campus, our St. Davids location has been recognized as the 5th Most Beautiful Christian College campus in the world. Walton Hall, Willow Lake and the Waterwheel are classic icons of Eastern's beloved campus.

Library services

Warner Memorial Library is centrally located on campus as part of the Harold C. Howard Center. The building is wireless throughout and has three floors.

  • The main level (200) contains the Reference and Circulation Desks, computer workstations, ready reference books and the beginning of the circulating collection (A-BL).
  • The Upper Level (300) contains the central part of our lending stacks (BM-N), computer workstations, student study rooms, the Media Room, the Archives, the Mazie Hall African American Heritage Room, Nonprofit Room, Edison Room, and the Special Collections Room. 
  • The Lower Level (100) contains the remaining lending book collection in movable shelving (P-Z), theses and dissertations in movable shelving, and a mini computer lab.

Campus life

Affectionately known as the Main Campus, our St. Davids location has been recognized as the 5th Most Beautiful Christian College campus in the world. Walton Hall, Willow Lake and the Waterwheel are classic icons of Eastern's beloved campus.There are many ways to get to the St. Davids campus via public transportation. By walking to the St. Davids train station (Paoli/Thorndale Line), you are a 25 minute train-ride to or from downtown Philadelphia, which USA Today called one of America's top 10 best college communities. For safety and convenience, there is a shuttle service to and from campus to the Radnor stations.

Sports facilities

Eastern University Athletics aims to provide student-athletes with opportunities for competition and development in multiple sports. Eastern University understands athletic competition within the context of the development of the whole person. This perspective does not diminish the significance of athletic achievement, but rather frames it in within the educational process.
