History

Founded in 1962, Reimagined in 2008, Reborn in 2013

  • The University of New Hampshire's business school was founded in 1962 as the Whittemore School of Business and Economics. It was created as one of five schools/colleges on the Durham Campus. In 2013 the Whittemore School was renamed as the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.

Education

  • The Undergraduate Programs Office in Paul College has a team of advisors that focus on encouraging and supporting students to discover and explore their academic, personal and professional interests during their time at UNH. Through a collaborative and holistic approach, advisors empower students to take responsibility for their collegiate experience. 
  • We support students in the M.S. Accounting, M.S. Finance, M.S. Business Analytics, M.S. and Ph.D. Economics, and M.B.A. programs (Full-Time, Part-Time Durham/Manchester, and Online), as well as in the graduate certificates of Business Analytics and Hospitality Management.

Research

  • As part of a research-intensive university, the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire pursues impactful scholarly research that advances theory and knowledge in core business disciplines, economics and hospitality management as a central part of its mission. As a professional school at a land grant university, we also seek to improve business and industry in the state, the region and beyond.
