The engineering degree programmes offered by SEGi University are fully accredited by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) which is a signatory to the Washington Accord. The BEM is the official regulatory body authorised to determine recognition of engineering degree programmes in Malaysia.

I'm an international student at SEGi University. I think I made a good choice by choosing this university. I've been studying at this university for two years. Most importantly, I got a responsible supervisor, which will assist me in overcoming the difficulties I had on this journey.

This ensures that students have access to top-notch resources that support their personal and academic growth. Helpful lectures, hostel woes
All lectures were good and always there to support and help students. Lecture note are good and wrote in a understandable form. Some presentation are there but not so much and it will not burden students. There are also some revision classes before exam to help students. It was very important to me as I can focus more on what is important. The facilities at the lab were good. Microscope and TV are in enough amount. Every classroom are installed with projector, air conditioner, and whiteboard. All of them are functioning well. However, the facilities at hostel are quite bad and not recommended. There are only one washing machine in the hostel. Meaning boys and girls share one washing machine. Same goes to the dryer. The washing machine was dirty also. Hostel fee was expansive for me. It cost me RM550 per month. However, there are air conditioner and free Wi-Fi. So still acceptable. Last, there are less choices of food in the canteen. Not only that, canteen are close at 5pm and close during weekend and public holidays. As a student who live in the hostel, it was very difficult for me to search for food.
