Student services

You have access to great facilities including a range of sports facilities, a theatre and cinema on campus, a centre for music performance as well as venues for clubs and societies, bars, cafes and a night club. There is also a doctor's surgery and pharmacy on campus as well small supermarkets. All of which helps to ensure that your student experience at Kent is enjoyable, enriching and convenient as well as intellectually stimulating.

Housing services

A variety of accommodation is available at both our Canterbury and Medway campuses.

Library services

The Templeman Library at Canterbury and the Drill Hall Library at Medway offer a vast range of information, technology and resources. As well as providing access to information and data, our libraries also provide spaces where you can study individually or collaboratively. Our library staff are on hand to support you in finding the right information and a Helpdesk is also available.

Medical services

Our Student Support and Wellbeing Services can provide you with access to healthcare services such as the University Medical Centre and Nursing Service. Specialist services are available for anyone with physical or learning disabilities. Support is also provided for anyone experiencing psychological, emotional or mental health issues.

Sports facilities

The Sports Centre houses an air conditioned fitness suite, dance studios and three multi-purpose sports halls. Outdoor sports fields are also used for a range of sports.  A dedicated team of health and fitness instructors can deliver one-to-one support as well as a programme of classes and activities.

Student clubs

Kent Union, the students’ union at Canterbury, is run by the students, for the students. It gives you a voice, helps you to fulfil your potential and makes sure you get the most out of your student experience.
