Student Services
When you join our hotel school, you will become a part of a bigger family. Whether you find yourself far from home for the first time, or if you need a bit of friendly academic advice, we make sure there is always someone you can talk to.
- Academic Office - Assists students with any administrative issues related to academics: study attestations, records of achievement, diplomas, class schedules, module exemptions.
- Administrative Office - Availabe for questions regarding students visas, resident permits, invoices, and other enrolment information.
Housing services
Accommodation options are available in all of our campus buildings, depending on your year of study. All accommodation is modern, comfortable and spacious to enable students to feel at home.
Medical services
The school provides students with health care coverage (including the daily cost of hospitalization in a shared room) and for corporal accident both on and off school premises in Switzerland and abroad. In case of accident or illness, students should first contact the reception or the student counselor who will organize further action.
Campus life
Hotel Institute Montreux is located in the heart of Montreux, on the shores of Lake Geneva with the Alps providing a spectacular backdrop. The campus is a 3-minute walk from Lake Geneva and the train station, providing easy access to a variety of activities. An hour from Geneva airport allows for easy travel to European hotspots on the weekends.
The school is comprised of several buildings within walking distance. All buildings have been renovated and equipped to provide state-of-the-art accommodation and modern learning facilities.
Hotel Europe hosts most classrooms and faculty offices. Final year Bachelor and Master students are based in the Miramonte building, with a more business-orientated environment.
Sports facilities
A Sports and Leisure Coordinator is at the disposal of students and will be organizing weekly sports activities as well as excursions.

The Bachelor’s degree program is awarded in partnership with Northwood University (USA), which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, one of the regional accrediting agencies for higher education in the United States, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Hotel Institute Montreux holds accreditation in Switzerland with EduQua. The main accrediting body for all training institutes in Switzerland.
Hotel Institute Montreux holds international accreditation with THE-ICE (International Center of Excellence for Tourism and Hospitality Education).

I am ready for the world
I love studying at Hotel Institute Montreux. The best part is that I learn just as much in class as I do from my friends and teachers in the school, and at the same time I get to experience the swiss culture and learn french. Another thing that make my experience in the school so good is that I have the possibility to get to know people from all over the world and learn about their cultures. I get to challenge and develop myself everyday to becoming the person that I want to be. The content in the class are preparing me for a successful future anywhere. The school and the teachers helped me see possibilities in everything and I am very excited about life.
