My Experience in Transport Engineering at Sapienza

From my personal experience, studying Transport Systems Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome has been a good and meaningful journey. The programme is well structured and focuses a lot on important topics like transport planning, traffic modelling, and mobility management. I personally felt the courses were useful and connected to real-world transportation problems, not just theory. Most of the professors are knowledgeable and supportive, and if you are serious about learning, you will gain strong technical skills that can help in your future career. Since the programme is taught in English, it was easier for me to adjust, and I also got to meet many international students. The multicultural environment makes the experience more enjoyable and helps you build a global mindset. However, one challenge I faced was the administration system, which can be slow and sometimes confusing, especially in the beginning. You need patience when dealing with documents, emails, or university procedures. Overall, I would say Sapienza is a solid choice if you want a quality education in transportation engineering and also want the experience of living and studying in Italy.

Sapienzas Green MSc Journey

At Sapienza University of Rome, the Green Industrial Engineering for Sustainable Development MSc feels like learning to redesign the worldone system at a time. Its not just lectures; its a constant push to rethink how industries should work, not just how they do. The program blends sustainability, engineering, and strategy into a tight, fast-paced experience. One moment youre breaking down circular economy models, the next youre questioning real industrial processes and their environmental cost. Its intense, sometimes messy, but never boring. What makes it different is the mindset it builds. You stop seeing green as a buzzword and start treating it like a design rule. Add in a diverse, globally aware classroom and the backdrop of Rome, and the whole experience feels bigger than a degree. Its not perfectthere are moments when theory outweighs practicebut if you lean into it, you leave with something more valuable than skills: a new way of thinking about the future.
