History
Touro College was founded in New York City in 1970 by Dr. Bernard Lander as a Liberal Arts college. Since the 1970’s, the expansion of the college has reached California, Nevada, Israel, Russia, and Germany.
Education
Touro College Berlin offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology, business management and Holocaust studies accredited in the United States and in Germany. Our small community boasts of a genuinely diverse international faculty and student body. We believe in an education based on small classes and great discussions, and notably, we conduct all teaching in English apart from our MA program in Holocaust Communication & Tolerance.

Library services
The Szloma Albam Library serves the frequent visits by students and staff each working day, providing textbook and reference collections on open access, as well as course materials and a vast range of virtual material available online. The holdings support the courses and curriculum topics offered and serve as a foundation for students’ study and research on campus.
Campus life
Our campus is situated in the charming Charlottenburg district of Berlin. Touro College Berlin was established in 2003 in a historic Bauhaus villa with a profound history. The home of our campus originally belonged to the Lindemann family and was designed by German architect Bruno Paul. When the Nazis seized power in the 1930’s, the Lindemann home at Am Rupenhorn became the official residence of Hanns Kerrl, the Reichskirchsminister (The Reich’s Church Minister).
- Our U.S. Bachelor Programs and the MBA Program are accredited by The Middle States Commission on Higher Education and The New York State Department of Education.
- Touro College Berlin has been granted institutional accreditation by the German Wissenschaftsrat and has state-recognition status in Germany (staatlich anerkannte Hochschule). The Bachelors of Science in Management (BSc) is accredited by the Agency for external assurance in the field of Higher Education.
- The Masters of Arts in Holocaust Communication and Tolerance is accredited by AQAS e.V.
