History

  • From Jefferson Medical College to Sidney Kimmel Medical College, and Philadelphia Textile School to Philadelphia University – we have a rich legacy. 
  • In fact, through unifying two widely acclaimed and highly honored legacies of innovation, education, research and professional excellence we’ve surpassed 300 years of combined history.

Education

  • The BS programs in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management, Marketing, and Fashion Merchandising & Management), and Innovation MBA program on campus and online, which are offered through the School of Business, are accredited by ACBSP. 
  • The BS programs offered through the School of Continuing and Professional Studies are excluded from ACBSP accreditation.

Housing services

  • Whether Jefferson students choose to call one of our many campuses home or decide to commute to school, they will not have to look far to access a variety of housing and dining options. 

Library services

  • The Scott Memorial Library has more than 220,000 books and bound print journals and over 6,000 online journal subscriptions. 
  • All the information you need is at your fingertips.

Medical services

  • Announcing the partnership between the two health care systems in which Kennedy Health will serve as the southern New Jersey core of Jefferson Health. 
  • This marks the first time a Philadelphia health system has fully merged with one in southern New Jersey.

  • Our distinctive academic curriculum is just one of the many reasons our students enroll at Jefferson.

Sports facilities

  • With 17 men’s and women’s varsity teams, countless intramural and athletic clubs, yoga and meditation classes and state-of-the-art facilities, we ensure that students are exercising their mind, body and spirit.

Student clubs

  • The Graduate Student Association  was formed in 1969 to provide a link among graduate students, Jefferson College of Biomedical Sciences administration and faculty and the surrounding Philadelphia community.
